Just goes to show how much of those films have infiltrated culture. You can't help but know quite a bit about them.

My boyfriend just showed me this YouTube video: Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it).
It's funny on its own, but what really struck me was the way she got most of the important stuff, but with a few additions and omissions--kind of like Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings." It seems to me that this video could be a useful teaching tool for explaining to non-Tolkien fans why some of us don't like the movies so much. ^_~
