Not a trekkie either, but I rather like Star Trek. Maybe I'll go see this one.
Let's see if I can forget for about two hours that Spock is NOT Sylar.

The first documented sight of the name of `Mary Sue` was in a Star Trek fic, if my facts are correct.
Star Trek is comming out with a new movie:

It looks really awsome (no I am not a trekkie), though I can see all the fan girls lining up now because of the actors that they chose.
Leto
I never liked the original series, and this entire film has me angry. For one thing, because the Trek TOS had seven movies, Next Generation had three of four, but DS9 and Voyager haven't had ANY, and they're making another TOS?
And the actors... bah. They were picked for their looks. The entire thing looks like a disaster waiting to happen. I'm not even going to see it. I dread the Suefics that are going to be spawned by this, but as I take only TNG, DS9 and Voyager missions, it's not really my problem. Thankfully.
*end rant*

Mind meld v looking into the brain to see how it works.
The question now is: if Sylar would have been able to do Spock's mind melds, would he have gotten his hands dirty opening up so many brains?
Gah...IndeMaat, what have you done? *swats bunnies* No, go away! I don't even watch Heroes!
