The Avon Valley Rift

Following her regeneration during the Macrovirus Epidemic and subsequent Invasion, Agent Morgan of the DMS found time to return to south-west England. A while later, she wrote up an essay about the subject (well, today, in fact), which is linked above.

Due to the nature of the subject matter, some knowledge of Doctor Who (in particular the revived series) may be helpful, but it's hardly essential. And to be honest, if you don't know that a TARDIS is a time machine by now...

I'd propose a different theory as to the exact location of the rift, but that might break the fourth wall, and gods only know what havoc that would wreak.
