An author misspells one of their created lesser characters' names? And is it a charge? I can't seem to find anything about it on the Wiki...

Not much. by

You can charge for the misspelling with extra venom, considering that the writer should at least be able to spell their own characters' names, but other than that, not much happens. I suppose in extreme cases you could end up with two different characters, but I don't think I've seen such a thing.

That sounds scary, but likely. by

Once on a mission I got so fed up with the author ending each chapter in a cliffhanger and calling them cliffies, that I created the character Cliffie. He's short and sings Cliff Richard songs.
He must be hanging around at HQ somewhere. My agent took him to a party, but she did not return with him. -
