This seems to be a deadlock. Mini-Bloodthirsters look more like Mini-Balrogs, but Mini-Nightbringers are an established fact. I guess it would depend on which has more lulz. I need a definitive answer, though. I found a mini-________ in a badfic. Abbadon. It has a particular fondness for 80's music. And dinosaurs.
What would the Minis in a 40K fic be? Mini-Bloodthirsters come to mind for some reason.

We eventually decided on Mini-Nightbrigners.
Mini-Bloodthirsters would work as well...
None of the other races really have anything that'd apply.
He's a 40k fan as well. Personally, I don't know anything about the fandom, so I'm no help.
