Can Agents use ysalamir if the situation calls for it? If not, are there methods of camouflaging their presence in the Force from Sues?

I don't see why not. It's a sensible canon solution to protesting yourself from unpleasant force users.

Never seen it done (or used it myself), but ysalamiri-usage would be fairly canonical. At least for the New Republic era - I seem to recall a statement that Myrkr was effectively blockaded/off-limits for the Old Republic.

Not blockaded as such. Just avoided and not spoken of. Criminals hid there during the Clone Wars, for one thing.

Been a while since I read the Thrawn trilogy - and they're down at my parents place, so couldn't check... Anyway, I'd think ysalamiri would be a bit unusual pre-Empire or during the Empire days, it'd be primarily in the New Republic era that ysalamiri would be more readily accesible. That said, Star Wars canon is sometimes hard to pin down on things, and retcons are not unknown! (Boba Fett's backstory, anyone?)
