It's nice to know someone is looking out for the folks in Torchwood. I bet there is quite a bit of badfic in that world.
It's funny, though. The story you PPC'd was rather dull, or at least it seemed that way. I mean, did anything actually happen in it?

It's both funny and disturbing in a bizarre way. And if I recall my Torchwood correctly, the crew isn't exactly the picture of a smooth-running team itself. Still, I can't help but snicker at the image of a kid living in the Hub: "I don't have my homework 'cause a Dalek from last Sunday's invasion got into the Hub and we all nearly died only Ianto managed to kill it with a rocket launcher and all the fighting and stuff damaged the computers including the one with my essay. But Tosh said she could get most of the stuff on the computers back by Wednesday so if you can wait I'll have it in by then. Honest."
