I saw "Toil and Trouble," but I've already got two (more) Shakespeare PPCs and a P+P one in the works for Agent Glass to get through. I can put it back on my list, if you want. Agent Glass (formerly) worked in the (now-defunct) English Classics Division of the DMS, so I've been writing up old mission reports. Only one finished so far, for a "Much Ado" fic. http://www.freewebs.com/ppc23/prequelmissionlog1.htm
I don't care if he's out of copyright, I'm still doing missions when they mess around with the Bard. -

Seriously, people should not mess with ol' Macbeth. *protective of his favourites*
Also, I had no idea there was Shakespeare fanfiction. That worries me for some reason. -
What worries me is that Shakespeare is out of copyright by

Which means that, technically, it doesn't necessarily have to qualify as "fanfiction" anymore - they could go out and publish it.
(And by the way, Ironic Over-Power? *heafts sledgehammer* Don't even THINK about it.) -

Except whomever published Ergaon. That terminal lapse in judgement aside, Shakespeare has enough of a reputation among academics that I doubt it'll actually happen. Still, I have that sledgehammer ready to smack the Ironic-Over Power if need be.

And I do believe Eragon was (originally, at least) published by Christopher Paolini's parents. (And please, someone, correct me if I'm wrong.) -

"Over 135 talks were given at bookshops, libraries and schools, many with Paolini dressed up in a medieval costume."
That makes me giggle lots.
But I'd be furious if my mum did that. I hate been called into the spotlight and if I do ever decide to try and publish some of my original fiction (HA!), I'll use a false name like "A. Psuedo-Nymme". -

No, that's not a claim - I don't have time for another mission - just an expression of astonishment. *gags* -
