Sorry, the only person who gets to communicate with Ned is Ben, not you, Sue. And it's specifically stated in Castaways that the angel is neither male nor female, so kindly stop calling it "she". And it would be nice if the storyline consisted of more words than the interspersed pop songs.

While I'm talking about Castaways, does anyone think the unnamed angel that features in the series might be the same angel (the Archangel Gabriel, to be precise) that appeared in Seven Strange and Ghostly Tales in a slightly different form? I want to know how to handle it in the OFUR.

*twitch* Ew. Mm... I don't know about the angel. I'd say "at your discretion," but you could always go do some angel research to see if there's a likely candidate whose skill sets match the unnamed one's usual habits.

It basically just appears, acts scary, curses Vanderdecken and saves Ben, and spends the rest of the time giving Ben weird rhyming telepathic messages. Sound like any traditional angels?

Probably is Gabriel, then. He's known for poetry (especially in the Islamic tradition as Djibril) as well as the "appear, astound/frighten, and proclaim" routine. He was one of Jeanne d'Arc's buddies.
