There was a 'contest' of sorts for the movie title a few weeks ago; that was one of many suggestions that parodied actual films.

Movie poster for "There Will Be Glitter".
Isn't it awesome? *grin*
However, the agent billing really doesn't sit well with me, as others have brought up, because of the co-operative nature of the film. Other than that, though, excellence.
I'll have to agree with the others as regards "Starring" etc, but the poster in and of itself is wonderfully done.
...well, I asked her about the credits. There wasn't much info on that. >.And about the acting thing...well, I might redo this. Make it prettier with color, and stick all the acting credits into the bottom and stuff--but that'll have to wait 'till NaNoWriMo's over.
After all, 'twas a cooperative effort and written by many people, and involving many agents. To single any out isn't fair or accurate.
I recall you asking about whether or not to make it an 'Urpleville Films Production', to which I didn't have a problem, I agree. But I also recall saying that the cast list was too big to use.
And anyway, we don't even have a full audio-track made yet, let alone the whole movie. Maybe posters etc ought to wait until we have a finished product to promote? :)
didn't you check your email? I swore I sent you a PPC Soundtrack I compiled on Imeem.
Ah, whatever. Here's the link to it. You'll have to log in; Dies Irae is for members only.
PPC Movie Soundtrack
And it's very nice.
I've got the tracks loaded as MP3s on my hard drive for use when we come to putting the soundtrack audio on it. So I think we're pretty prepared on that score, except for any original compositions you come up with. Do send those on to me when you have them, yes?
My mom has the computer with the mike and stuff, and with NaNoWriMo right now I'll have to puzzle out the MIDI in December at the earliest. Maybe I'll get them in before Christmas as a present? x]
That is literally made of awesome.
In my opinion, anyway. :)
Love this poster, Lily, it looks awesome and just makes the idea of the movie more exciting. I've been trying to get all my lines in as quickly as possible (doing three characters at once makes that a little easier said than done), and I hope the rest of the cast does too so we can get even closer to finishing this. I can tell the whole thing is gonna be amazing when it's done. Is "There Will Be Glitter" supposed to be a parody of "There Will Be Blood"? That's what I thought of when I saw the title. Yeah though, awesome work.
Can't wait to see what the final product's gonna be like, but that's a long way to go so I'll have to, heh. :P

Just thought I'd ask, heh. It's an interesting title either way, and probably gonna be a kickass movie.
I say that not out of any kind of arrogance, but out of my pride for the PPC community. We are kickass when necessary. Which just shows you how ace the film's going to be. XD The RP it was adapted from was even better. And I'm sure your contributions will help immensely.
As for the movie title, it was the result of a vote. We had everyone send in titles they liked, and then once we stopped getting offers, we put them to a vote- yep, all 58 of them. "There Will Be Glitter" won out.
And that's saying something, as I'm rather critical of art work. But the sketchy picture combined with the bold text makes a really nice effect. I would have done it differently, probably used colour but kept the sketchy element and my drawing style is a little different to that, but I still like. So much going on in one picture, it attracts your attention. Was it you who drew it?
I was too lazy to color it. (lists a long list of excuses, including "NaNoWriMo", "school", "Chinese school", "chorus", "piano", "art class with a guy who works at Dreamworks as my teacher", and so on)
I do intend on doing a colored version...sometime this century. :]
I'm a pretty good colourer myself. :) Of course, you might be wanting to do it yourself but if you're running low on time or just feel lazy, send it my way and me and my tablet will have some fun with it.
In some ways the black and white works better, but it'd probably look even cooler in colour. Would be interesting. Your choice though.
Wait, as in "we'll see about the colour poster in December" or "we'll see the movie in December"? Because that could go either way but from the way things sound December sounds like it would be WAY too soon. Call me a pessimist, but as much as I want to help the project (and am trying to), one month doesn't seem like enough.
No PPC-er in their right mind would have the mentality or super time management skills to do NaNoWriMo, Real Life stuff, and a movie.
I'll be coloring the poster and composing pieces for the score in December.
Yeah, I was gonna say, "Finish the movie in DECEMBER? That's madness!". I thought you already had a finished soundtrack though? The one in that imeem link?
And other tracks I couldn't find. So basically that's the most complete soundtrack we have (the one on imeem, I mean).
My mistake then. Yeah, I thought I saw a few tracks missing (Man of La Mancha, for example), but eh. I was wrong, thought that was the finished thingy. Still, should be a good track, especially if you're doing compositions yourself for it.
Still, I doubt you'd take on the soundtrack if you didn't know what you were doing, and I choose to have faith in said capabilities until I am proven wrong. :P
You flatter me. *iz flattard*
Though I do play the piano and sing. I sent Trojie a MP3 file of me singing "Danny Boy", just ask her...;]
Got the email thing up anyway, I'll send one over and tell her you told me to ask her about your singing.
I sing loud. And the mike sucked.
