It's my second year, and I'm determined to make up for my abysmal performance last year.

*jumps up and down eagerly* I am! I am! My first time and I'm gonna do it! Only four more- well, three days to go!
Anyone else?
So you write a novel in a month...might as well try.
I'm hopeless.
Five days, one thousand words. I'm so not gonna finish this, am I?
That internal editor is hard to shut up.
I AM entering NaNo this year. Wish me luck...please?
Now I must go and fine tune my plot.
November first is here! Type like the blazes! Go go go! Yay! Whee! *is having fun* What's your username? I'm adding everyone I can.
...like a fifth grader's story. *hangs head* This is what happens when I lock up my inner editor...
Not much progress, but I thought I could finish it for NaNoWriMo because otherwise I'd forget it ever existed.
I'm Lily Winterwood on NaNo, too.
As long as my Muse doesn't continue trying to foist two novels on me.

This is my first year but it's supposed to be really fun. I'm looking forward to it. If you decide to join and want to add me to your buddy list, I'm oozaru_angel.
However, I need to pass my classes, so, yeah. Maybe next year, if I'm not jobless and/or starving.
~Neshomeh, obsessive when she gets going.
I suspect my novel will be utterly ridiculous, though, as things will just be spewing out.
Expect ninjas.
...even though I have no plot bunny, no plot, and no idea what I'm doing.
Problem is that I'm going to be ridiculously busy this year. I can already sense the busy...ness.
I am so sorry, Oozaru. X_X (Oh, how I wish for a delete button, sometimes.)
*grin* I am, too.
Good luck to all?
Can we agree on a no torture policy for the duration of the month?
But yeah, good luck! Do your best! I've got this fantasy/satire/parody adventure story vaguely planned out and it's either going to be in first person or in diary form. The plot is so vaguely defined that I should be able to drag it out for 50 000 words. :D
And thank you, same to you! *grin* I wonder how many PTerry books started as vaguely planned out satire/parody/fantasy adventure stories.
And first person! Nice. I've always been more comfortable in third... maybe next year I'll give it a stab. I'd be very interested to see it, when's done!
Again, good luck! *grin* In thirty days, then?
Which is why I'm leaning towards third person now, but from the viewpoint of this one character. Or maybe I'll switch between characters. I dunno. The story has changed it's purpose a lot in the last 24 hours.
Thirty days it is. See you at the finish line.

I have an exam on the morning of the 1st (in my time zone - the rest of you will still be in October, so maybe it doesn't quite count?), but after that I have practically nothing, all month - quite convenient of the Americans to put it during my summer holiday ;)
I think I'll use it to get a bunch of raw, later-editable material either for a Wicked fanfic idea I've been tossing around, or more chapters for my PPC missions or my Stardust fanfic (yes, I know that's against the rules as they're both already begun, but I'm not actually entering. I just want the incentive).
And maybe I'll change my mind and be boring. Not sure. *shrug*
so I won't do it again here. ^_^ The Wicked fanfic sounds like fun, go for it!
That fast writing or no fast writing, I need the canon research, and I'm not quite finished with that. I have... *checks* two days, in which I also have a singing lesson and my only study time for a language exam.
... I'll manage, somehow. And we can all commiserate on our stress together, too. :)
Good luck on your exam!
I'm a good bit busier this year than I was last year, so I may not make it. Worth a try, though.
Probably won't put it online even if I do, though. I wanna use it for a first draft for a potentially publishable story, and I don't want to give it away.
