So I'm not present there. But I'd be fine just doing it here on the secondary board.

Would anyone be interested in a 'Costume' Party, what with Halloween coming up?
Idea would be instead of using our usual usernames, we'd use a costume thing for username, or go by a character's name - thus being in costume/disguise.
And then do this on either the secondary board or the Bravo chat, or maybe even both?
Using the second board has the advantage of what's going on being recorded where everyone can see it, but disadvantage in that your disguise can be undermined by people just checking your IP address. Chat has advantage of immediacy and anonymity (fairly sure, at least) but disadvantage of not able to record it unless someone constantly copies while they're in there.
And be either from the 17th to 19th or 24th to 26th. Since I figure Halloween weekend anyone doing Halloween stuff would be doing that.
Who is interested, which'd be better (or just say "Both!"), and which weekend?

... and I have access to multiple IP's, so that just spells all sorts of incognito fun on this rarest of boards where proper grammar isn't a dead giveaway as to my identity.
I'd say the secondary Board and trust that cheaters won't check IPs.
I kind of find the board harder to keep track of, sometimes, but… it should be okay. Either'd be fine.
I don't think I've got major plans for either weekend, so whichever most people prefer's fine by me.
I would say we should do both - as long as people use the same name on them both, it should be fine.
as in, disconnect, crash, be out of sync, and a whole lot of other problems. Besides, you'd have to make a deliberate effort to tell people apart by IPs
Question - what if two people pick the same character?
And yes, certainly, I'm interested. Time zones will make it interesting, and I'm going to a friend's bachelorette party on the 18th, but we can make it work. :)
I'd rather use the board, I'm sure we can trust people (who aren't July) to not spoil the game by paying attention to IP addresses. Or maybe we could turn off the feature that registers IP addresses just for the two days?
Surely people can keep a lid on their curiosity enough to keep the game alive?

my vote is for the chat. Masquerades ain't no fun if everyone can see under your mask.
We could have a lot of fun with this. Or just end up knowing more then we'd like about people.
Why not do it both weekends, and change names each time?
I vote for the secondary board, since I've never used the chat. Either time works for me.
I don't know if I'll be able to do it, what with school being how it is, but do know that I'm not available at all the 17th-19th.
I tend to prefer live chat RP, but the recording aspect of the message board also appeals. Er, both?
