After Midnight
Day Shall Come Again
Thirteen missions. Five partners. Two years on the job. Now, finally, the career of DOGA's first and greatest Agent comes to a close.
This follows directly from the end of Celebrian -- The Mission, so you should at least skim the last few paragraphs of that if you haven't read it. And I'll reveal no more.

Yes, I'm late, I know. This is the first chance I had to check any links.
But, yeah. That was...wow. As people below have said, it's like tehe end of an era. And...yeah.
I can't believe it's over. Anyway, it's really good.
Haleth... *grin*
This is a joyous, yet solemn occasion. It's the end of an era. I feel like there should be fireworks and big bands and parties and mass hysteria involving computers and the end of the world.
...
Or, y'know, hefty congratulations and fare-thee-well to Dafydd and Constance, and definitely congratulations to their writer. {= )
~Neshomeh, stocking pretzels and chocolate anyway, just in case.

Really, just... *hugs* Really great.
That...was impressive. A fitting end to Dafydd's truly illustrious career.
And yay, Constance! Orpheus and Luthien pale in comparison when it comes to retrieving lovers from the dead.
(I work Mossflower and the Potterverse, we need no excuse whatever to hold feasts.)
I guess it must be satisfying to have an epic story come to an end like that ... seriously, what's it like? My attention span is so short that I've never experienced that feeling.
... my thoughts just after finishing were along the lines of "Right, now I need to get Crashing Down done so I can actually post End of the Beginning". Which is nearly finished itself, but spoilerific. As if there was anything I hadn't already spoilered.
But yes. It doesn't feel like finishing, just getting past another step. Getting to the end of Narto and Lou's last mission, /that/ may be a finish.

*claps enthusiastically* I just love Daffyd/Constance. And they sooooo deserve that happy ending and...
[/fangirl]
This is brilliant. BRILLIANT! I love it!
And I'm... actually all not surprised that Constance had the brass cheek to march into Mandos and demand Dafydd back. It seems like her style.
*pat on the back* Awesome stuff.
