With help form those who know more about mammalian biology than me *Coughs*Trojie*Coughs*. You know, just for the fun. I did Pokemon fanfics a while ago, and I wouldn't mind creating a fictional background to the Ypur. It would take me back *Reminsces until he gets buried under a pile of Ypurs*

... the Ypur appears to be a bovine, probably related to either the musk ox or the yak (going on what I recall of the picture linked to a while back). Any actual specific biological details you need, just ask, rather than me making this tl;dr by filling it with stuff about four chambered stomachs and cloven hooves :P
As to tasks, most bovines can be domesticated to provide meat, milk and leather products, or as draught animals to pull heavy things or to carry riders.
I am NOT volunteering to castrate any male Ypurs to make them more docile. Yes, I do know the theory and several techniques. But no, I am not doing it.
However I am working on re-opening the PPC Cute Animal Friends Adoption Agency and I'm sure room can be found for any spare Ypurs there.
You want to fill the adoption centre with eight hundred bovine-size ypur? Are you MAD, friend? Those things are HUGE. I thought ypurs would be monkey-like, about the size of a big cat. That there would be room for...
Well, it's up to you, but I'm not adopting anything bigger than I am.

I've already got one, really don't need more... but maybe they could form some type of elite squad (or army) that go after people who misspell "your" as "ypur"... or anyone who transposes two letters right next to each other...
And any severely under-mini-ed OFU could borrow a few of those to ride herd on the students, maybe.
Personally, I picture Ypurs as being very, very affectionate as long as you feed them and don't transpose the letters 'o' and 'p'. Then they turn into ravaging machines of DEATH. :P

I think what happened was that the owners of YourWebApps.com deleted the spam messages and blocked the IP address. Anyway, huzzah that it's gone! *Ypur falls on head*
Yeah. Now we've just gotta get rid of the Ypurs. I'll take one, they're cute. :D

The YourWebApps.com guys deleted the spam, but not sure about the IP address. The bot attack was stopped by the sysadmin of the webhost it was using.
