I was just messing around at Fanfic Land...and I notice there's only stories for Wiki and the PPC. When is the next Badfic Game coming up? (If it is at all) And can someone open up submissions to the OFU section if it does? I've got a few evil little OFUM Nuzguls gnawing at my sanity...

... that until this year, the only section to exist at all was the PPC one. This year I said that stories could be written for any of them, but as it turned out I was still the only person who did anything in the Wiki (and that took effort). But yes, they'll all be open next time, too. No pages until someone writes something, though.

That you missed it. Last month or so. And I believe hS the Fanfic Land Admin does that once a year or so. Lurking a bit more often helps you keep an eye on the cool stuff like that.

I've read a great deal of the badfic on fanfic land...and now, I'm absolutely thankful that these are written as parodies, or I'd be begging Miss Cam for an Official Spin-off University of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum. OSUPPC. Hahaha.
And that OSUPPC Nuzgul is attacking me, too. Can someone relieve me of it?

and subsequently discarded around the same time as the badfic game. It just wouldn't work, for reasons that other people on this board could probably explain better than I.

I'm glad someone is enjoying(?) the badfic. Many brains were broken during their creation, some completely beyond repair.

I was laughing so hard as I read the tripe. It was often so undecipherable, though. I suppose that's a point in parody badfics.
I especially enjoyed (?) the Jaycacia fics. That Mary Sue needs to get her DNA tested to see who her parents are. The debate (loosely put) over her parentage was...odd.
And hahahahaha...Jaycasa! Someone misspelled the 'Sue's name and now Jay's a house! (Get it? Jay Casa? Jay House?)

Then I collapsed in horror. It was the most deliberately awful thing I've ever written, and quite probably the most wful full stop. I still have memories of the first story I ever wrote, and it doesn't compare to PPC badfic.

*snicker* I got the Jaycasa joke.
