Warning to all PPCers by

I'm posting to warn everyone about an incoming flux of badfic that is bound to come. I just saw the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars...and...well, it kind of sucks but it has its moments. However, there are some...rather badly written lines on the part of the writers. The kind of lines combined with dangerously romantic music and sunsetty silhouettes that aren't too hard to read into.
There are a number of other moents and lines etc etc that are potentially dangerous to the canon. The movie itself is a little shifty in terms of the original non-animated ones.
So. Just as a warning. Keep your eyes out, try to hold on to your sanity. -
Oh NO. *sighs* Had to happen. Stupid Lucas... (nm) by

Lucas neither directed nor produced this movie, which probably explains why it fails so much. He basically just gave it the go ahead and probably gave some input on it. At least it didn't turn out nearly as bad as the Star Wars Christmas Special complete with a cracked-out Carrie Fisher.

I would've thought that an almost Lucas-free movie would suck less...
I've heard about the horror of the SW Christmas Special, but I've never actually seen it. Is it really that bad? -

I saw a YouTube clip of Leia singing. It's BAD. by

Not because Carrie Fisher can't sing, but because the song was the sort that you'd expect to hear from Barney The Saccrine Purple Thing.

So, did what's-her-name turn out to be a horrible Canon Sue? by

Anakin's mysteriously disappearing apprentice, I mean. The writers seemed hopelessly in love with her.

She's not actually all that bad. I mean, she is a Padawan, and all Jedi-related things are slightly Sueish, but Anakin was the one jumping from small flying thing to small flying thing. Ahsoka avoided any form of jumping that involved small targets.
Yeah, she DID take on three MagnaGuards and wound up victorious, though there was a lot of creativity involved in the process (hiding and surprise attacks to get one, etc.) She also managed to trigger every trap set up at one point.
Worst thing about her was the MagnaGuards issue, although looking back on it now they weren't as good as the ones seen later on in the third movie. I'm guessing that a) The models were improved throughout the war, or b) General Grievous was NOT letting Dooku take the best of HIS elite guard to go suck up to the Hutts. Anakin was more of a canon-Sue.
The droids rocked. They made the movie epic even while it failed miserably.
"Concentrate all your fire in sector 1s3j225lk12452!"
"Sector 1s3..j...?"
"Just fire there!"

She was a little bit disrespectful, which bothered me, but Anakin was kind of like that too, so they made a deccent pair. She Ahsoka seemed a little bit beyond the ability of a young padawan, but again, Anakin was like that too. She wasn't a total Sue, but it's easy to see how someone could write her as one.
Oh, and you forgot the best one, Hattie: "...What happened to the shields? * BOOM EXPLOSION *"
And also: "AAAAAAAAAAAH * droid falls down cliff * " "Get back here, Seargent!"
And: Droid: "So, they got away. What should I do, call Count Dooku, or something?" " * glare * * Jedi forced off cliff * " "AAAAAAAAAH!"
The droids were very sentient in this movie, which I thought was great.
