How dare you go to Japan? How dare you? *is reduced to a wimpering heap on the floor* I-I-I've been trying to go for year and you just... *sob*
Seriously though, have fun. Take more pictures than you know what to do with.
I am going to Japan today!
And I am beside myself. I can't wait for the plane to leave, and I have no idea what I am going to do when I am there. This is the first trip like this I am ever going to take and I am excited. I hope that I can survive to tell the tale.

Akihabara aka, electric city. Where there are more manga shops than any place I have ever seen. They have whole BUILDINGS, and I meen skyscrapers, to manga and related paraphinalia.

I am at my first hostel in Tokyo. It is so hot am muggy here. It feals as if you are walking up against a wall when you leave any air conditioned area.
Had a great flight (even though it was delayed an hour and a half), now I am going to colapse before I fall asleep walking.

I've been trying to learn hiragana and katakana Japanese, but I'm not doing that well at the moment. I'd love to be able to travel somewhere on my own, but...meh. Like I said, have fun!
