It always takes a dozen tries to get the chat to load, and then it randomly stops displaying text. It's very annoying.

Just last night, due to a couple of problems with my Internet connection, two copies of my screenname were signed into the chat when the connection broke off and I tried to sign back in, so I had to pick a temporary screenname to finish what I had been saying.
Then again, that problem was occurred a few minutes after I unintentionally tempted the Ironic Overpower, so I may have deserved it. -

That happened to me, Kitty. Try going through the website homepage (if you scroll down, I asked the same question and It'll tell you how to get there). That should work, then you should be able to access through the link again.

Usually, I just exit the page and re-enter it, and it'll log me on just fine. But yeah, it's annoying whenever it does that...

Sometimes it's the link on the 'Board malfunctioning, sometimes it's Sorcery.net being odd, sometimes it's connection - but I recommend trying a different chat client if it's the link on the 'Board that isn't working. (chat.mibbit.com is my preference, with irc.sorcery.net as the server and #PPC as the channel.)

I just close the tab, wait a few minutes, and then open it back up again when I have that problem. It usually works then.
Are you having problems with getting it to open the chat page, or to log in at all? -

The problem I'm experiencing is that when I click the link, the page that should allow me to choose my nickname shows up solid black with nothing on it.
Going through chat.mibbit.com doesn't work, either - I can click the 'Connect' button all day and nothing happens. The page won't even change.
