Because I just found out that cookies with white chocolate in them are surprisingly tasty. Parents got them while I was at hostel, and I ate the packet this morning. The whole thing.
In any case, you guys usually eat anything while doing your reading? Most of the time I don't when it comes to books (because I love them too much), but I do nibble on aforementioned cookies while on the internet.
on a growth spurt. Which means I tend to eat when I'm hungry, what I want to eat (which when I'm reading is mostly either cheese or berries).
So it seems most people munch on things while reading...
Are there any particular foods when it comes to reading genres? I find fruits in general help me along during late-night readings of horror, and candy (gumballs, all of the time) for romance or fantasy.
Reason is, I read on my computer screen, and eating without something to compete for my attention, makes me feel rather uncomfortable. So I read eBooks I pilfered from the Internet, which is rather a treat as I often got books banned in my country. But since it is mostly not fiction at all, then I have no intention of sharing the titles here.
I've munched everything from Cheez-its to pasta dishes in front of this darn computer. Needless to say, I've become quite good at multitasking.
In front of a book, though, I normally won't. There's something about need more physical effort to turn a page than to click something that keeps me from eating when I have a book in my lap. (Well, that, and the fact that sometimes my fingers can get a bit dirty...)
Since I'll read books in pretty much any setting...no, I have no real reading-snacks.
when I have something to read it with. If I could breakfast, lunch or dinner with something to read, that makes me a very happy Dark Lord. But I rarely snack while reading hard copies. You need both hands for that. I just drink coffee or tea, and maybe dip some biscuits in it to eat.
Oranges! Oranges are good. My parents actually hide them from me sometimes... *wanders off in search of oranges*

In my house breakfast and lunch especially are not really family affairs, and I hate having to eat without something to read, whether it's online or an actual book, unless everyone is eating together. XD
