This chapter is shorter than I expected, as it just covers lunchtime. This guarantees, however, that the next chapter gets out in a timely fashion, and it will be longer and include more juicy things.

In a Fanfiction University, OOC has plenty of precedent if it's for Rule of Funny. Otherwise, Sauron wouldn't keep a stuffed rabbit and throw meteors at Morgoth!
I thought that Miss Gloria and Miss Maria were in charge of OFAS... is something that I was going to say before I remembered that when dealing with a Q, it'll just be safer to humor him than to provide direct opposition. At least with de Lancie's specimen, he won't go teleporting people into the sun for going against him. The de Lancie Q is much more imaginative than that.

I don't know...I'm not as talented as Miss Cam, and I'm not sure I can do her balancing act of in character/out of character. So I'm trying to do pretty much in character, with a few things like...well, no spoilers. :)

They've been there half a day and they're already plotting to enter the staff section. I bet their faces will be a picture when they discover what the defenses are (*snickers*). And they have to eat Neelix' cooking, haha.
