Involving a mini-Aragog who did not originate in a fanfic.

So I was in a fast food place today, an Arby's to be specific, with my brother and sister-in-law. Now at this place they ask you what your name is so that they can call it when your order is ready, so my brother dares me to tell the employee that my name is Voldemort.

I don't generally make it a habit of backing down from dares that aren't dangerous, so I did it. Now the employee got the joke, thought it was funny, and went along with it. Unfortunately (or not), he didn't know how to spell "Voldemort." So a few minutes later there was a roast beef sandwich and medium drink for "Voltimer."

I want to keep him.

I checked Meir Brin's list and he wasn't there. I also did a Google search, but it seems to mean a number of things so I didn't get much help there - aside from a number of other people who don't know how to spell "Voldemort." I haven't ever noticed him mentioned. If anyone has already adopted him, please let me know. Otherwise, he's mine.

I thought that was an amusing story that I ought to share. Because it is funny. So... yeah.
