I'm thinking that she's a talking horse, she could be made useful if she's de-glittered a bit but keeps her plothole-hopping abilities. There was even another cartoon from around the same time period that did have a dimension-hopping horse. Chroma already steals her color scheme from a She-Ra character, so it makes sense for a Sue to steal a third trait to make her animal specialer.
I'm getting ready to write the Chroma story. Basically there was a Rainbow Brite / Star Wars crossover where a Sue copies Rainbow Brite's adventures, but she's trying to make Dagobah colorful and Yoda is her Murky. One of the agents goes nuts and kills the Sue, but he disappears into the swamp along with her horse. (I don't think the actual fic exists unless I actually sit down and write it. The mission just exists as something that is occasionally mentioned.)
Would Chroma be found much later during a cleanup mission to that fic, or is it possible that she would have fallen into a plothole to a different badfic set on Dagobah?
I could see it going either way. He may have sought out a plot hole in a deliberate attempt to leave the area- if so, the Agent may or may not actually be on Dagobah any more.
Chroma is a cute animal friend that doesn't know about the PPC, just some nutjob pulled her Sue right off her back and then he started chasing her.
In that case, I quite like the idea of CAFs, when frightened or otherwise under duress, being able to generate or rapidly locate plot holes as a natural defense mechanism. They're creatures of bad writing, so it should figure into their "biology" somehow.
