Wow, it has been a while since I've been on the Board! Hello, everyone! I've been taking some summer transfer classes for the last few months, and that, compounded with a few other RL issues I don't want to get into, meant that my week or so of near-Internetless life following the end of the spring semester turned into two months, because my life has essentially been eaten to the bone for the longest time. I didn't even announce that I'd be gone, because by the time I realized I wouldn't be able to come here very often, I'd already been swamped! I expect all sorts of confused messages in my e-mail inbox when I get to checking that later.

Well, that's all over now, and since it's my birthday today, my present to myself will be getting involved with this clan of wonderful people again. How's everyone been? Have there been some new developments since I've been out? Any chance I could get a list of whatever missions have been written over the summer? I've been starved for enjoyable reading material, and the PPC rarely disappoints.

Out of its tail, it pulls out a plushie of Pyrus Apollonir the Charmander. To the untrained eye, it's just a normal Charmander, but you can tell that it's Apollonir from the never-say-die lok on its face.*

I've been gone a while too, but I'm back now too! May not be as frequent as I used to be, but at least I am here! I am sure the others will fill you in better then I could.

I do have one question for you though. I was gone from the Board when the season 4 finale aired. What did you think about it? I thought Tirek was cool, though a little to Gary Stu-ie for my tastes. And that new castle of Twilight's...Ew. That is horrid. I mean, the Crystal Empire at least has some class, this new crystal tree house of friendship is just gaudy. I have more to say on the finale, and season four in general, but I have to head out. I do look forward to your thoughts on it, and if you want, I would be happy to talk about how awesome this season was.

I've been meaning to catch up on it now that it's over and I can just marathon the whole thing on Youtube, but during the season's run, I saw, I think, three episodes, and only one of them was any good. It was probably a coincidence, and through sheer bad luck I watched two out what was probably only four or so bad episodes this season back-to-back, but it just turned me off of watching the season on the whole until the time could come for me to get a better picture of the whole thing. I mean, you shouldn't have an episode with Daring Do in it and get a viewer reaction comparable to "I think I had a better experience watching Ticket Master than I am having right now."

As for the finale, I've only gotten a brief collection of some of what goes on through Internet osmosis. Centaur shows up, blows up Twilight's house, eats magic, and then almost causes the apocalypse. Judging by how the original Tirek was defeated and the fact that TV commercials advertising "Rainbow Ponies" started cropping up shortly after the season finale aired, I'm guessing he was killed by the power of multicolor merchandising, but I've been deliberately avoiding information on that aspect in case it'll retroactively ruin other parts of the season if I find out early. I don't usually mind spoilers, but since this season seems very focused on a few specific mysteries, finding them out early might detract from the narrative.

Aw, no Fandom Pinkie birthday party? I had the chariot races ready and everything! I mean, I suppose I do have the welcome-back pastry table, but those pastries have gone a little bit stale since I've not been here to refresh the stock.

Even if it doesn't come back Chekhov's Gun-style when I encounter a fancy-coffee-syrup-addicted mad scientist or someone else of similar stripe later on, I'm almost certain that the store sells non-coffee and non-topping items.

Wait, both virtual and stuffed, as in a computer program of a stuffed boa? Or virtually stuffed, as in almost completely stuffed? Or stuffed in/with a virtual reality? Many thanks either way, I'd just like to know what it is that I have in front of me. Right now, I'm not even sure whether or not it's even physically present. It's like Schrödinger's Digi-Snake.
