This story is set in Legacy of Kain and I can explain any relevant bits. It is a rewrite of Drop a Stone, which is a "real world intruder" story, and I specifically need help with the beginning.

Her one power is to disrupt how things should have gone and create an AU. By saving Janos from dying, she should have destroyed just about everything actually seen in the game, but something keeps that from happening by fixing the biggest immediate problem. I need a way for a vampire to be interested in her for long enough to figure out that she knows the future.
