But the entire series is just so goooooooood.
with a satisfying amount of likeable characters, emotional investment, and magic battles, I finished watching Cardcaptor Sakura yesterday.
This anime, I like it! *shatters it* ANOTHER!
No but seriously, does anyone know a good place besides AO3 for CCS fanfiction? Perhaps a fic meme? Or does anyone just want to squeal with me over the Touya/Yukito ship?
Surprising as it may be, I've known the Pit to have a small amount of good anime, if you know where to find it. Mainly the stuff that was written five years ago... when Pitters actually cared about quality... *sighs*. Most of it is archived away in communities and such, but it's there, at least. Other than that, I would suggest Google.
I'm pretty sure it's called "Imperfect Perfection", and it's wonderful. When I first read it, I knew extremely little about Naruto; now, I know a tiny bit more, but not much...and I've reread it several times, and it's never stopped being amazing. And it's even complete :)
*tiptoes out of the conversation* *I totally don't know what's going on, just spotted the keywords 'good anime' and 'the Pit' and thought I'd chime in*

Can't say as I've watched more than a few episodes of Card Captor, more due to availability than actual desire not to continue.
I would recommend reading Tsubasa, although the anime kinda leaves things hanging. And I loved Magic Knights Rayearth (my first CLAMP), it ends a little weird, but oh well, and the second season of the anime went way overboard on filler/extraneous stuff, the manga is great though. Clover and RG Veda are good ones too.
Oooh, I loved it when I was a kid! I need to brush up on it, that was a great series! Have you watched xxxHolic and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles? Or read the mangas?
My brother used to watch xxxHolic, but this is my first real foray into Clamp. I hear Tsubasa's a bit of a downer or at least bittersweet ending, though.
Seriously, if you liked CCS, stay away from TRC. As I wrote myself on the Wiki page for the latter, Tsubasa not only has a bittersweet ending and retroactively changes a good chunk of CCS, but it's also a mindscrew.
I'm happy to see that CCS is gaining popularity here on the Board, though. That anime was probably my childhood's favourite (and is still in my top five now)
I did several missions in that continua (#1. #2, #4 and Collaboration #2, although the latter is a crossover mostly focusing on Lyrical Nanoha), and there's two nice missions with Agents Janet Ackerly and Cygna Hoshiko by another author, so I think you might want to read those.
(You can find all here: http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/CardCaptorSakura )
I think I may start doing missions into that fandom as well. Or MSTs, at the very least.
Collaborations are fun. And now that you like CCS, I will to convert you to Lyrical Nanoha and Madoka Magica.
Muahahahah. *poor impression of an evil laugh*
Ok, attempting an evil laugh when you're 0% evil isn't going to work.
Characterization has been marching on in my brain, and I've fallen far behind with what I already have up.
I'm dragging my feet with Madoka, for obvious reasons, but I've heard nothing but good things about it so I do intend to watch it eventually. As to Lyrical Nanoha, I do want to watch that, but I remember trying to look for it once and not being able to find it on any of the anime streaming websites I usually go to.
You can find all episodes of the three series (original, A's and StrikerS), plus the second movie (which is a re-telling of A's. I suggest watching both movies too, as they're AWESOME.)
Madoka's there too, alongside... well, pretty much anything.
I finally have all of the episodes of Madoka Magica right in front of me, ready to be watched at any moment. I've been waiting months to find this all in one place. Time for an anime marathon!
But the entire series is just so goooooooood.
