Good thing my claims are not that old. They are maybe about a month old, and I intend to begin working on them as soon as I'm done with my "ironing".
I'm going to have some extra time on my hands for the next week, and I plan to use some of it to go through the Claimed Badfic and Unclaimed Badfic lists to remove any old or deleted postings. Claims older than 18 months will be bumped to the Unclaimed list. Old unclaimed fics will be removed altogether. Deleted fics from either list will be removed.
So, if you've got a claim that's been sitting around for a year and a half or more, go in there and edit (or add) the date so I know you're still interested. Thanks!
I'll either reply to this thread or make a new post when I'm about to start, depending on the Board's activity level between now and then.

Putting it on my personal list for now, but I do not want it.
I think it is one of a short series about the Rouges. They appear to be a world-hopping duo. Beware of homophone problems, not really homophone problems, capitalization neglect, but they seem okay on punctuation by comparison.

Neshomeh, I don't think I have any claims older than 18 months--I'm not sure I've even been a Boarder for 18 months yet, actually--but just in case, please leave mine be? I don't have enough time to go through them properly right now (limited internet and limited time, as I'm on vacation in a different country). While there may well be a few I'm going to un-claim, I'm not currently sure which they are, and, like I said, don't have the time to do it right this second (not to mention you just requested not to edit those pages just now), so...
Yes. Please leave mine alone for now? I don't believe any of them are older than 16 months (wow), but if they are, just...notify me instead, or else consider everything of mine renewed for the moment? I'll go through it all properly when I get the chance (hopefully reasonably soon).

I moved everything yesterday—all I have left to do is check for any deleted fics I missed. I don't think I moved much (if anything) of yours, though. I'll take a look to be sure. It should be easy to spot yours—I notice that you like to write a whole lot of commentary. {; P

You had fourteen claimed fics before I started yesterday, and I count fourteen claimed fics today. (That's a lot of fics!)

That's a relief. And yeah, I know, it's a lot...I'm actually now thinking I didn't quite think all of them through. Also, at least one of them is now being reworked...I'll be going through them at some point and probably moving some to the Unclaimed list, I think.
(And yes, I do like to write a lot of commentary! :D Honestly, it's my favorite thing to read, so why not write it in case other people share that liking? And, of course, generally I prefer to claim fics I have a lot to say about...)

PS: I expect that's also conclusive proof I haven't been a Boarder for 18 months yet, as I definitely claimed a fic or two before getting Permission. The more you know...
I'm going to begin by removing old and dead fics from the Unclaimed list, then move on to the Claimed list. Please avoid editing either one until I'm finished. Thanks!

Unless you want to put claims on the list, of course. It's not necessary, though, especially if you're working in a fandom that isn't shared by many other Boarders.

I've deleted two of my claims, one which I don't think I'll be doing anyway (moved to the unclaimed list) and one where the fic has been deleted. Too bad I didn't keep a copy, it was a sequel to one I had already sporked.
I also added claims for the two fics I am currently working on a mission for. Better later than never, I guess. ^^

Actually, it was just a whim made possible by HTML character entities. The code I used is ☆ — to my surprise, it actually worked!
This page shows all the ones supported by HTML 5, as far as I can tell. They may not all work in all browsers. Promise me y'all won't go nuts with this, okay?

Renewed an old claim.
I don't have permission yet, so I don't know if mine can even stay.
I added it to my private list, and I doubt anyone would risk my yelling or having to learn a new fandom to take it.

"A retelling of Raziel's story. However, a new character is introduced, giving Raziel a romantic twist." It starts out with a blatant Mary-Sue, but then devolves into straight copy-paste of the script where the romantic interest barely gets any lines, and half of those are stolen.
That's what it looks like anyway. So you don't need to worry about it at the moment.
