Also requesting a beta (Discworld 'fic) by

(Sorry, Bryn, but I'm stealing some of your thread... mwahaha etc)
I've just completed a Canon Protection Initiative-related Discworld story after about eight months work (and eight years since I first started it...), and I am in need of a beta or three. It needs someone to go over canon details, SPG, and general writing style and entertainment value.
The whole thing is about 16 chapters long, and is actually all written; however, I don't intend to dump the whole thing at once on either betas or readers (the only person I'd do that to is Kaitlyn!).
So essentially, what I need is someone/s willing to be a constant beta, who checks one chapter, and after I make any changes and post it, is ready for the next one. I'm imagining (in my funny little head) getting a chapter out every couple of days - time will tell if that's even feasible.
Any takers? Please to leave emails here or to contact at address above.

I know the Greek mythology well, and I'd love to beta a tragedy. I even have a friend who knows Greek tragedies quite well, and he might be able to help/be peanut gallery. Mail is sur DOT nhm AT gmail DOT com.

Greek-style tragedy? Excellent. It has been a while since I read a good modern tragedy emulating the great Greek plays before them. The email is tds3ak AT yahoo.com.
Fun fact, the romans tried to replicate the Greek tragedies only BIGGER and better. To say they missed the mark is an understatement. They got their stories so complex and convoluted, one of the gods had to descend from the heavens to fix it up. The god would be lowered onto the stage in a machine, and 'god in the machine' translated into latin is Dues ex Machina. Just found that interesting.

I'd be happy to read it, Bryn, but I don't think I know greek history enough to beta it, nor am I nitpicky enough with errors. I can look for some blatant things and check for the general pacing, if you want? I've got a fairly good sense for pacing.

I know a bit about Greek mythology myself. If you want more eyes taking a look, I'd be happy to give it a glance.
I'd be interested, if someone as shiny as I am could do so. by

I don't know if recent arrivals are allowed to be beta readers, but I know a lot about Greek mythology, and I will certainly nit-pick when shown disagreeable SPaG. I'm not too experienced with the actual culture of ancient Greece, so you might need somebody else to check those parts over, but I'd be able to look over the rest of it.
