For my birthday, I want:
Legend of Korra Season 2 on DVD,
The Last Story (a popular RPG for Wii)
A non-explodable CAD
To give Akemi Homura a hug (because heaven knows she needs it)
Martin the Warrior's sword
Flames to light my barbecue with
Barbecue
To learn how to cook barbecue
Nanoha plushies
A legendary Pokémon
The Sharingan, to be used on my enemies (if I ever actually find any)
An intelligent device
One of those coat/jacket/armor thingies that Loki wears, because really, those are cool
What do you want for your birthday?
I want a sonic screwdriver! And an unlimited supply of Flames for research! And a puppy!
And plushy Jay and Acacia. That would be SO cool.
Especially of stuff by 20th Century Composers. Man, that would be the best, even if they'd have to be returned after the day. The national libraries of most European countries tend to hold on to their history pretty stringently, you know what I mean?
Or, barring that, the opportunity to write the next Star Trek Movie.
Though honestly, I'd probably be happy with the Starfleet collection of star maps or the Starfleet Manual (handbook? Thing?). I'm not very picky.

* For the rest of the missing Doctor Who episodes to turn up
* A couple weeks with nothing to do but research my planned Historical Masquerade entry for CostumeCon 34
* A nice assortment of loose-leaf tea
* An Elven sword or dagger (given my height compared to that of Tolkien's elves, dagger is probably a better idea)
* Training in how to use an Elven sword or dagger
* Chocolate
* A trip in the TARDIS (My favorite Doctors are Two, Three, Four, and Seven ... but really, I'd travel with anyone BUT Six.)
* A fully up-to-date desktop computer
* Another couple weeks with nothing to do but finally get that steampunk repaint of my Nerf Maverick done
Now, what do I expect to get next month? I think the tea and chocolate have a decent chance of showing up.
To give an hug to Homura too (she REALLY needs one. Or a hundred.)
A Moemura plushie (same reason as above)
An Intelligent Device (yeah, me too.)
A 1983 Toyota Sprinter Trueno (No, I haven't watched Initial D, if you're wondering. It was my first car in Gran Turismo 3, and one of my signature cars in racing games ever since)
A job
And... That's it, for now, I guess.

And most importantly, courage
Well, I knew there would be someone out there who would enjoy that. I don't know how many people would agree with you, though. I'd imagine that for most, constantly reliving the day before their next birthday would be fun at first, due to unlimited time to do certain information-based tasks and lack of consequences for physical tasks, but would eventually drive them insane from the boredom and futility that the time loop would produce. That's doubled if they don't have access to the resources that Bill Murray had in Groundhog Day that let him gain several new skills while in temporal limbo, and just had to see all of their efforts vanish at the end of each day. That would be all kinds of unpleasant.
Besides, wasn't Phil Connors stuck in that loop for a decade or something? That's gotta leave some pretty big psychological scars.
Ah, here we are. After Harold Ramis(Groundhog Day's director) said that he thought that the initial eight-to-ten-year estimate was too short, and that Phil spent about three or four decades in the loop, a site calculated the loop's length based on references in the movie, how long it would take for Phil to know the intricate workings of the town in the demonstrated amount of detail, the time he would spend learning skills like mastery of ice sculpting, etcetera, and wound up at just under 34 years.
Yeah, I think it's going to be a bit difficult for Mr. Connors to adjust. After the loop ends, not only is he thrust into a world where he doesn't have omniscient knowledge of his surroundings and you don't reset to the start of the day when you die, but he's been in the loop for so long, his mental age is now twice as old as his physical age. Yikes.
Chocolate, and the complete set of Dresden Files, Codex Alera, and Discworld.
And perhaps Permission.
P.S. Happy Birthday (If it isn't today, please re-read this message whenever it is your birthday!
I'm hoping to add Bellatrix's and Voldemort's wands to my collection this year, though my mom hinted that I might get one in my Easter basket. :3
Though I wouldn't say no to a trip with the Doctor.
Would you mind being in black-and-white for the duration of your adventure? Because for a temporary jaunt, I think the Second Doctor could provide the best balance between fun and spontaneous experiences, and not being possessed or mutated or something of the sort because the writers know you're only temporary. I'd say Nine or Ten would be just as fun, but that's only if you don't mind the chance of stumbling into the middle of aberrant cosmic phenomena or being turned into a cyborg. Some people would really enjoy that, though. It's not every day someone gets to play around with with uncontrollable power, even if there are equally potent consequences.
I'm partial to 9, 10, and 11, but Tom Baker won me over in his first episode. :3
In the admittedly few episodes I've seen of him, while he does seem like a lot of fun, Four or one his companions kept getting turned into hosts for things, or cloned, or mind-controlled, which is why he wasn't the original pick. The ratio would've probably gotten better if I watched more of his run, though, and the Fourth Doctor would be a lot of fun to interact with.
Have fighting off Meglos! I hope it's someone else that gets possessed and made to develop green skin and spines! Meglos needs more time in the spotlight. He was great. Maybe the Twelfth Doctor will encounter him.
