The PPC version! Here you can tell us all about characters you like, vent anger about how their treated in canon, and talk about how they influenced you
Here are me choices:
Lucy(Fairy Tail)
I see a lot of myself in Lucy. We're both bookish blondes with a tendency to freak out. I was going through a dark period in my life, and this anime helped me get through it. I believe part of that was the fact that I could easily relate to Lucy. She also had the awesome ability to summon spirits from another dimension. She might not have always fought herself, But I wasn't always a violent person (Back then)
Lenalee (D.Grayman)
Lenalee is a character that's really abused in fandom. Possibly because she's one of the only girls in the main cast. It's a shame really because she's such a good character. When she was introduced she was a sweet motherly was always protecting people. We later learn she was taken away from her brother-the only suriving member of her family- and had been horribly abused by the organization that she worked for, but stuck with said organization because she wanted to protect the people she loved. Lenalee was also a badass fighter, able to take down a level 3 akuma on her own, which was the strongest akuma the group had faced at that point. (Although she did lose her powers afterword)
Maka (Soul Eater)
Maka was a very nice surprise for me. Put yourselves in my shoes for a minute, I'll walk you through it.You are a young teen girl, who likes supernatural action shows, but hates how the girls never get as much action as the boys do. You hear about this awesome anime, and deiced to check it out. That anime opens with a demon killing a woman before going after another victim. Then he is interrupted by the arrival of two teenagers, who claim that his soul belongs to them. THEN THE BOY TURNS INTO A WEAPON, WHICH THE GIRL USES TO KICK THE MONSTERS ASS. Yes, that had to be in all capitals, it was that awesome. And Maka continued to be a badass, as well as a character I could relate to.
I just realized this is the longest post I've made on the board.
