Another Newbie's Introduction by

Hello all. I've just found the PPC less than a week ago through TVTropes, and I love it already. As such, attempting to join the boards seemed like a decent idea.
I have read the Constitution, Original Series, the FAQs, and a handful of those other little guides on the wiki. My fandoms include, but are not limited to: Castle, Disney, Valve Games, Avatar (the non-blue cat one), Disney, Star Wars, Tabletop Games, Legos, Disney, Criminal Minds, and My Little Pony.
So, now that introductions have been squared away, I have just one question: what's next? As far as I gathered from all those guides, what I do next pretty much amounts to bumming around on the boards. So, am I mistaken, or should I just start mucking about around here? -

I share most of your listed fandoms! Yay! (Except Castle and Criminal Minds, but they sound cool.) I don't know if I'm allowed to give gifts per se, so you can have this Nelson Mandela quote:
"If you speak to a man in a language he understands, it goes to his head. If you speak to him in his language, it goes to his heart."

For future reference, anyone can give gifts. (nm) by

Hi, have some fudge!
Good to see another tabletop gamer, do you have a favorite system? I started with 1st edition AD&D, finally quit that system with 3.5. These days almost all my regular gaming is with Hero System, but I've played a lot of other systems at conventions. -

Glad to see some other people still like to play old school. Personally, I like the system Legend Quest, but I haven't actually been able to play anything else. My dad wrote the system, so he doesn't exactly appreciate me bringing up the other games.

Since others have answered your questions, I don't think that I need to regurgitate the same answers yet again.
As for your newbie gift,

Here, have a wilver replica Death Star! -

Welcome to the Board; your present from me is a barking penguin. Make sure to feed it lots of anchovies.
Also, feel free to get involved in the shipficfest; this is my first time, too. Heh heh, first time. *ducks flying tomatoes* -

Welcome!
Put your feet up and make yourself feel right at home. Ummm, just don't put your feet there. Thats kind of a arton energy naquada reactor. Bit dangerous.
In any case, have a silver ink fountain pen. Works on black notebooks and werewolves both. Enjoy! -

Here, have this collapsible unicycle and Bleeprin-dosed custard pie. You never know when you'll need either one of them. Possibly never. Possibly now. Possibly an indeterminate number of years ago, and looking at them now engenders a feeling of deep regret, made worse by the memory of laughter and the ringing of small bells.
As for your other question, well, you've pretty much answered it. What's next is becoming part of the community. I only joined fairly recently, but I'm already welcome. It happened to me, it'll happen to you, much like the screaming and possibly-weasels. =]
