By any chance, are you going to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago? I loved that museum.

As I type this, I am on a bus on the way to the Museum of Science and Industry. It's a long trip, but worth it. You see, today is a celebration.
Today, we celebrate the fact that, against all odds (if you ask my friends) I have survived another year! So celebrate with me! Let there be food and beverage (both alcohol-filled and not) and song!

You know what this means: at some point in the future, you will have to confront RinaAndRanda (Rina) in a battle for supremacy, to see who can truly bear the Rina name. As is tradition, it will likely take place on top of a tall spire or on a bridge stretching over a canyon, so you might want to start looking for one of those soon. It would be an unspeakable hassle to go and find a good climactic battle location at the last minute.
You'll probably need to wield some sweet energy weapons, too, for extra excitement and drama, but luckily for you, I've got a few cases of them right here, and in honor of today's Permission Giver birthday celebration, I'm offering you and your counterpart your choice of armament for free! I'm partial to the plasma claws, myself, but that's mainly because I've always been a fan of that arm-mounted dual claw weapon that I was never able to find the name of. I'd be the first to admit that they don't exactly have the best reach, but they're absolutely vicious in close combat.
Also, Phobos can help himself to any of the weapons if he comes down to this part of the thread. It's his birthday, after all!
Wait, are you the original Rina from last year, or are you Rina from RinaAndRanda? Because if you are RinaAndRanda (Rina), be aware that there is/was someone who used the name Rina in the past, and if she returns, you using her former screen name would likely spur on the battle for supremacy that I've spent the majority of this post talking about. I'll give you the energy weaponry either way, though. Just wanted to give you a heads-up.
No, that was me. Man, I had no idea there was someone else who used Rina as their name. Oy. Randa and I are thinking of taking different usernames since we're not going to be tag teaming for more than a year.

It wasn't a warning as in "other Rina will hunt you down", more a "you'll need to know that there'll probably be a fight for supremacy in your future", or in a Doylist sense, "you should be aware that if you use that screen name, we will have two Boarders named Rina". As far as I know, you don't actually need to hide from anything. It's a perfectly reasonable mistake to make.
Regarding the separated screen names for RinaAndRanda, the search bar tells me that you used to go by artemis.hunt when you first arrived. Perhaps you or Randa could use a variation of that, unless you abandoned the screen name because you began to dislike it. On the other hand, there was formerly a Boarder named Artemis who wrote for the Bad Role-play Department, so that might create confusion, but on the gripping hand, we have at least three Boarders whose screen names are derived from "Kitty_____", so that might not be nearly as big as issue as I'm making it out to be.
That was back when I was still getting used to the Board and somehow got the email and author boxes confused. (If you can't tell, I have a hard time with stuff like this.)
And I dunno, I might just change my username to something completely different, since Rina is just a shortening of my real name, Sabrina. *shrug*
