Generic Title: Well...

Hey everybody. I recently claimed a particularly nasty-looking Sith!Stufic (Here, because HTML didn't work: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6696781/1/Destiny-of-the-Sith) set in an AU a bit before the outbreak of the Clone Wars and the events of the 2008-2013 cartoon. I've been able to put together most of a charge list just flipping through the fic briefly, and know most of what's up where, but I'm having difficulty determining if the character of Ahsoka Tano is replaced outright or just severely OOC, though given the content of this fic I'm unsure if in the latter case I can get away with a neuralysation or if FicPsych/Medical would need to get involved.

Anyway, the work she's from is a part of Star Wars I'm wholly unfamiliar with, though I'm looking it and her up more, so I just wondered if anyone here knew enough about the canon character already to help with figuring that out. Sorry for the bother, hope everyone's 2014 is going well so far.

While I haven't watched a lot of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, I think I watched enough episodes to see whether she's badly OOC or whatever.
...
The first chapter's name is already problematic. True Sith has a very specific meaning (Star Wars: The Old Republic spoiler warning for this link)...

... Whoever this master is, he's an idiot, giving a lightsaber to a child means he'll probably dismember himself in seconds... Training sabers exist for a ...ing reason, dammit.

..., even Sith do not work this way... Augh.
The first chapter's AN... WTF. Double-u. Tee. Eff. Fack the Actual Whut. Just... no.

Right. Ahsoka. Judging from the first few paragraphs, she's completely replaced. Anakin didn't call her Snips for nothing and she shows none of that attitude. Plus, the backstory the Stuthor invented for her is completely messed up, not to mention that it won't be able to touch canon with a stick the length of the Death Star.

I actually found that kind of baffling - he mashes together the Galactic War era and Clone Wars era with nary a thought as to how to make it make any sense, and I don't get why he treats TOR character classes like they're an actual thing in-setting. Fun fact, "true Sith" also means the actual Sith species, and this Stu (from what little description there is) seems to be a generic human. Thanks for the help with Ahsoka though - I could tell she pretty quickly went down the path of a character replacement, but I'm going to have to kill that fic early to avoid the whole "the Stu literally has an army of Sith at his beck and call" thing so I wanted to see if there was anything recognisable in the early bits of the fic.

(Don't Sith have training lightsabers that briefly paralyse you? And acolytes in TOR seem to use real swords given how those glowstick things act in cutscenes.)

From what I remember, Sith Training Sabers give you nasty burns or something.

Yeah, you're right, nasty paralysis. Normal training sabers give you bruises, welts and minor burns.
And yes, it seems the Padawans/Sith Acolytes swords are more akin to vibroblades than to anything else.

Anyway, if you need cameos, I'd be happy to oblige.
-Slinks back to shooting Sith as a mercenary-

Reading further, she becomes much more obviously replaced the longer the fic goes on, but I was wondering if there was anything recognisable in the first bits with her. Sorry to bug the Board with dumb questions, heh.
