“a virtual date”seems to imply that this is a virtual event, like a Role Play on Twitter. But I’m such an old-fashioned person; I don’t actually know anything about these things.

I'd love to join in, but as the ball is probably in the UK, I won't be able to. That is, as long as no suethor messes up a World One fanfiction so badly that it changes the geography of the actual planet earth.
