This is agent Kyo reporting! I'd like permission to join ^^
Agent Picture:
Kyo works in Dept. of Mary Sues, Despatch Dept, Bad Roleplay Dept, and Dept. of Improbable AUs. (He does have a AU In his comic's canon so how could he not be in AUs?)
Have some aardvark jerky as your newbie gift. As was said by previous posters, though, you're going to need to go through a few steps before creating an agent and jumping right into the missions. :)

We're all happy that we will have one more agent in the PPC, but you do have to take note of a couple of things. Please read hermione of vulcan's post, "ATTENTION NEWBIES"
While everyone does appreciate your enthusiasm, I suggest you read up on things before leaping in like I did, trust me...
I was going to state the issues with this entry post, but doctorlit already did that, and in a much more concise manner than I was going to, so I'll just say one thing about the long list of departments.
If you want to take on missions of all of those categories, we have a Department of Floaters for that, but if you want to specialize, you can only pick one. If you do want to run missions for Bad Roleplay or Despatch, then specializing in one of those two might be best out of the list, because we have had very few people over the years with an interest in those Departments, and it would be good to see them worked with again.
Actually, that might have been two things, depending on how one looks at it, but that's not important right now.
What do you mean by "his comic's canon", by the way? Is Kyo Osamu native to a pre-existing canon work, or migrate from a webcomic you contributed to, or something of the sort? That will need to be clarified if you want to write for him here.
Well, either way, welcome to the PPC! Have a box of Duplic-Os! The only cereal that reproduces by budding!
Well not exactly.
I haven't posted my comic on DeviantART yet, but I do have designs for him and his friends.
And Ok, with the department issues, I'll shorten it to just Despatch and Mary sues. Two is better then four. Less complicated and less overpowered.
I don't think you quite caught up with the Department issue; an Agent is assigned to one Department at a time, no more.
I can see you're quite excited to get stuck in - that's a good thing, we love people who want to get involved. And wanting your Agent to try lots of different areas is cool. But I do think you're charging in a bit too fast and trying to do too much at once.
Put your Agent in Despatch first, if you like, and after a mission or two he can transfer to Mary-Sues for whatever reason the Flowers give. Or the other way round, and he can go switching Departments every couple of weeks or the like. (I wouldn't recommend it, it can get a bit confusing, but if it works for you, that's shiny.)

Now, I shall make like a Beverly Hillbilly and invite you to take your shoes off, and stay a while. Writing in the PPC universe that Jay and Acacia created requires permission from one of our longer-running members, but they don't give it to total strangers. This is a community, and we like to see new people stick around for at least a month or two before asking for permission. During that time, you should participate in discussion threads, writing games and other examples of "hanging out;" this lets the permission givers have a chance to get to know you and determine your writing ability.

Additionally, I'd like to point out that PPC agents can only be assigned to one department at a time. Agents do, however, sometimes get assigned missions outside their department's ordinary purview, as punishment for screwing up, or simply because of that agent pair's areas of expertise.
I look forward to seeing you around, Kyo. Talk to you later!
