Hope you're all okay out there.
In case you haven't been following it, the death toll from the typhoon that hit the Philippines is still rising. I know we do have PPCers from there; please keep them in your thoughts, or prayers if you're one of those who prays. It's looking pretty bad. -

Dear Lord
Be with those who have been affected by the typhoon in the Phillipines. Be there for those who have lost others, close family and dear friends and comfort those who do not know if those close to them are still alive.
Help those who are working to find others and be with them as each person is found. Be with those who are already out in the Phillipines giving aid and helping where they can, may you give them the strength to carry on even when the only emotions surrounding them are despair and unhappiness.
May the government make the right decisions in these coming days to support their people in the ways that they can.
In your name
Amen -

This Buzzfeed article includes five charitable causes to donate to; while I usually think Buzzfeed kinda sucks, in this case it's really important.

I am broke by now. So all the best for Philippines. By the way, I am at Sabah, south from Philippines. We aren't affected harshly, but we do experience heavy rains. -
