I don't really do tabletop rpgs but I'd be willing to try this one.

I came across by chance and it looks fun, but I wondered if anyone has any experience with it.
Apparently it has a setting not unlike the PPC universe where human fiction (and older myths and legends) form their own pocket dimensions. There are people who travel there for more or less legitimate reason and other who try to control and exploit the worlds.
This is the website for the game: http://www.montecookgames.com/store/product/the-strange-corebook/
No experience with it, but I like the idea of being able to hop into different settings. That sounds like a good way of keeping things fresh and interesting over a long campaign.
One thing I'm not fond of is that it seems to use custom dice, which I always just find a bit annoying. They don't look too custom though, so it's probably easy enough to play with a standard set.

Wish I had some RL friends into tabletop gaming I could play it with.
It would be interesting to make a recursion based on PPC HQ. There are a few time periods in our history that would work . . .
