So, if anyone's interested: do you want the aI've just discovered that by working at Dreamland, myself and 3 others are entitled to cut-price entry. If anyone would like to head this way again, the trains down are very good and there will be nice things. So, do people want to come down, look at stuff, and generally make the Margate meetup a thing? I guarantee you will be amply compensated for dragging yourself to my neck of the woods. =]

Ooh, Gathering-type Thing.

Sounds cool, in principle. The only problem for me is that my weekends are booked up for the next several weeks in a row. And I know that parks like this tend to close down for the colder months (although I couldn't see anything about that on the Dreamland site - do you know if they have seasonal opening times?).

But yeah, I plan on hosting another Gathering down my way - but with more things to do. See, what my plan NOW involves is going around Thanet and seeing the sights. They're there, I promise. Start in Dreamland, go through Margate, get the Loop bus route around Thanet, and go back home again. I don't know for certain what's happening with Dreamland during the winter period, but I know most people on the Board of Directors want to keep it open then. God alone knows what will actually happen, but it's something to bear in mind. =]

Depending, of course, on when it is, childcare, work commitments, the alignment of the planets and the myriad other factors that must be taken into account. As long as you've come up with some sort of Farage-containment system, of course^2.
