Can't very well say I like Arena or Daggerfell or the rest if I've never actually played 'em, can I?

So, on a whim, I figured that I'd be interested in learning what fandoms are popular among the PPC.
Basically, what I have in mind is taking a work of fiction, and counting how many PPCers count it as one of their fandoms.
I have no doubt in my mind that Harry Potter, Pokémon and Discworld are in the top five.
Making this slightly difficult is the fact that not a lot of PPC Wiki users list all of their fandoms. Perhaps you could make a list in Pastebin? After all, it's to see how popular a lot of fandoms are within the PPC.
Any takers?
Note: I tried to limit myself to continua that actually have PPC missions. There are a few that don't fit this, but I figured that they'd probably be good exceptions.

Had to add Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 to the 'other' video games list (as a bracket next to Dawn of War) as there was nowhere else to put them.
Harry Potter 17
Monty Python 15
Discworld 15
Avatar: TLA 14
Doctor Who 14
Pokemon 14
Star Wars 13
Frozen 12
The Incredibles 12
Marvel CU 12
The most shocking thing for me? LotR is not in the top 10! It clocked in at 11 votes so far, which is the same as Mulan, fercryinoutloud. Eesh.

That Theory is that LotR's appeal decreases the younger the person in question is. I get this from looking at various people I know, are roughly my age (or a bit younger) and that actually read.
Mostly because I was already a massive fan when FotR came out, and I was all of 15 then. Unless things have changed dramatically in the last year, most Boarders these days are older than that.

Or maybe midgets.

*is not pleased about this in any way, nope*
So there are a lot of things that people added with "Other" that don't get counted under the Google Analytics thing. I'll go ahead and list those here.
Now then. I think that our winners should surprise no one: At the time of this post, Harry Potter and Discworld are the most popular fandoms, with 11 votes each out of 15 users.
I would also recommend changing Skyrim to The Elder Scrolls. Yes, I know that's what they entered, but it would be like saying you are a fan of Half Blood Prince, and only Half Blood Prince.

But why no Comics? =(
I feel so lonely now...
My 'other' lists were quite long, eheh.
By the way, I don't actually watch any anime, but it's a required field so I clicked "other" and explained in the box.
FYI, I only checked off things that make me go "Yes, that is a thing I definitely like!" as opposed to just anything I've seen/read/etc. and might have enjoyed but don't particularly have feelings about.
(What, no theatre category? ... I guess it is pretty tiny and mostly based on literature....)

Making an actual survey on Google or something? That way you wouldn't have to comb through a bunch of Pastebin files to gather data. It would be a LONG survey by necessity, but you could split it up by books, films, video games, etc. to keep it neat. You could use the Fandom categories on the wiki as a place to start for gathering options, though of course not every fandom that's popular now is represented by a page on the wiki and not everything with a page is popular now.
I'd also suggest setting a working definition of "fandom" that fits what you want to learn. Are you interested in every single thing that people might happen to like, or the ones they actively participate in somehow (i.e. cosplay, fan forums, writing fic, making art, etc.), or just the ones they might conceivably write a mission in? Framing the question will get you better, more specific answers, and also make it easier for us to figure out how to respond.
~Neshomeh, who can't be bothered to write out a list of everything she's ever liked but might tick off some boxes for a few minutes.
It's about that time of year again, isn't it?
Seriously, I'm asking.
Which have been done roughly every year for a good while excepting the ones I had formally been gone during.
I don't remember when we did the last one, so might as well!

I have the goal of getting all my old stuff stuck on a DW for publishING purposes before we go out to sea again, might as well add that to the list.
That's a thing I can do? I admit that I don't know everything about Google. Mostly I just use image and web search or the translator.
Go into your Google Drive, click New, select More, select Google Forms, and go! It's a little tricky to figure out all the gizmos at first, but not too hard once you get the hang of it.

Would you (or someone else) be so kind as to assist me with making this blasted thing?
Check five or ten users, make that your basic list, then leave an open box for 'other'. Put it up on Google Drive or something.
hS
I don't have a user page, but I don't mind listing my favorites here, if that's okay. Or was that what you had in mind in the first place?
