I wish I could think of something more to say, but I'm afraid that's it. It's a nice little piece.
Oh, and it does pique my curiosity about what you've got in store for Rina. I can't wait to see how she ends up aging a few hundred years in the course of ten. O.o

And I don't think it has to, especially considering I think it's a stylistic choice (lovely things where you get to bend the rules of grammar :P).
