Lately I've been wallowing in sads over that show getting the axe before its first season even finished airing. I know that's old news, and the rest of the episodes have already aired, but for a while I was dawdling about watching them because I didn't want it to be over. I finally finished watching them recently and I think I'm experiencing fandom withdrawal. Now I know what the Firefly fans went through.
Is anyone else a fan of this show?
I did like the show, but didn't watch it too often, due to laziness. It's a shame it's off the air, especially since all Disney cares about nowadays are tweenie romcoms for vapid teen idols. *spits*
It got axed in favor of something called Ninth Grade Ninja. Ninth Grade Ninja. What.
It upsets me that Disney managed to turn out two quality animated shows, Motorcity and Gravity Falls, then axed one and keeps putting the other on hiatus.
...Seriously, I am really worried about Gravity Falls.

on Change.org to try to get Disney to sell/give the rights to the show back to the studio so they could try again with a different network. Unfortunately, as my brother once pointed out, getting a lot of signatures would probably convince them to keep the rights instead, since they'll probably think "hey! People like this show! We can sell merchandise!" Except we don't want merchandise, we want episodes, but we don't want episodes from you because you've made it clear you don't care.
Am I bitter? Yes. Hopefully another nice little fandom will come along to distract me.
