Does this apply only to moves, or does it cover Abilities as well (specifically Snow Cloak)?

Today is the last day to make any changes to your team or even sign up! For anyone who wants to see who's participating and what their teams look like, here is the official document detailing the who's who and the what's what. Cutoff ends at midnight Eastern Standard Time (for those of you not interested in looking up time zones, it's 7:00 here at the moment of posting).
Huinesoron very kindly made the Sunflower Cup so everyone can see the shinies they're fighting over.
Evasion-boosting and Accuracy-reducing moves have been banned. They just force the game to go on ad infinitum and make everyone mad.
Thank you.

Mostly just because they can stack. And stack. And stack...
Are we allowed to spectate on other peoples matches?
in case people don't want others to know of their tactics etc.
I know the original plan was to wait until next weekend, but if people want to go ahead and start battling this weekend, that could also be doable.
It'll be up to the combatants of the next matchup to arrange a time for battling; this can be done privately if so desired, as long as the time is posted to the Board so those wishing to watch live can pop in.
Not missing a sub... missing the sixth one. >_
It somehow didn't get copied when I saved my team, and my team went poof somehow. So I had to rebuild it. :P
At least it's fairly easy to rebuild a team on Showdown, huh? XD
Also, hoping I read the rules right -- mutual KOs aside from perish song are okay as long as they aren't the last two Pokemon standing, right?
And I'd prefer next weekend, but everyone else seems to want to do it this weekend, so...
So you won't be fighting until everyone in the first row finishes.
I'm just Iximaz on Showdown.
...click on their name then click challenge, or at least that's how it used to work (think you need to right click, not sure)
Unless it's changed suddenly in the last few hours. Is been that way as long as I can remember.
On a side note, just so we can be a bit ahead of the game when the time comes, when do you think you'll be available for our match?
I'm on BST at the moment, but when I'm back at Uni I should be more flexible.
You're right, Maybe it was right clicking on PO, I think it was right clicking on something anyway...
Any time after 4:00 PM EDT, though that's not until 9, your time. Will that be a problem?
Besides, I think I might actually die of anticipation waiting 'til next Friday.
*Looks at his first match-up; is so totally screwed.*
That way everyone can issue challenges in the thread itself, and people on the board can watch once the challenge is accepted. Two birds, one stone.
Man, the sequel to 2G1C was just not as good. =]
I may be contacted on Showdown under the username "colourcodedchaos". The U is important. =]
I use the same name both places.
Just let me know when you're ready to go. I can generally be found in the RU room. =]
Weekdays after 6 Eastern Standard Time are best for me.
Check out the doc at the bottom. I will be updating the bracket as the tournament progresses; matches will be going from top down, which means our first battle will be between [EvilAI]UBEROverlord and Scapegrace!
I've been working on my team for a long time. I hope I'll see some good competition. Good luck to everyone!
If I lose, eh, no biggie. I've discovered the glory of Hackmons, anyway.
My Classic Hackmons team is incredibly suboptimal, but they're Pokémon I like so I don't care!
This isn't about me looking at the other teams and trying to counter them, its more about me realizing just how many gaping weakness' the team I've put together has.
Your one.
Right.
*shuffles off with my RU team*
Just because you've got an RU team doesn't mean anything, it's a decent team with plenty of balance, something my old team just didn't have.
The problem isn't that my team's imbalanced, it's just that in OU, everyone on it has a counterpart further up the food chain that does what they do a bajillion times better. Oh well. My trope is Weak But Skilled and I must revel in it. =]
as far as I can see, there are only two real OU teams in this tournament, granted you're up against one, and I'm the second. But not many people in OU know how to counter pokemon in UU or RU without having played those tiers, that's your advantage.
I'm currently on showdown at the moment and my team just got beaten by a team with half of its mons from RU because I severely underestimated Hawlucha and let it sweep half my team. So go out there and do it, you can you know just believe.
I hadn't planned on using a tier. I guess it just worked out that way.
Just means I've got a bit more of a fight on my hands than otherwise.
So I don't know about that
Have a look at these links. It might give you some more ideas for any future matches.
Personally, I'd recommend looking into Mega Altaria. It's an amazing defensive 'mon that can actually sponge incredible amounts of damage and dish out some scary stuff: Pixelated Return boosted by Dragon Dance hits like a freight train.
Pixelate ought to be Porygon's ability. =]
Just so long as they're all made before the deadline.
Completely New Team:
Alakazam
Mamoswine
Breloom
Togekiss
Heatran
Rotom-W
Reserve: Excadrill
Now that I've actually looked at the team sheets... I'm basically screwed. Oh well. If Dwarf Fortress has taught me anything, it's that Losing Is Fun. =]
