Just thought you all should know. If this type of announcement would be better if it was placed somewhere else, let me know. I'm still trying to figure out what should be connected to other threads.
When in doubt, please err on the side of not making a new thread. Remember how hS told you that each new thread knocks an old one off the bottom? And how that's a bad thing?
And yeah, what Iximaz said. Nobody expects you to have eyes on the Board 24/7. We all sleep and have lives outside the PPC, you know.

This type of announcement isn't necessary in the slightest. Now, if you were planning on taking a several-month hiatus, then yes, but saying you won't be on until noon tomorrow is just taking up valuable Board space.
I promise that just about every single one of us has made some sort of mistake at some point. Not to worry. Just use your new knowledge well in the future! :)
