Normally, I'm unconcerned with the lyrics, as the music itself is what's important to me.
That being said, I can think of exceptions *gahackrainsofcastamereahem*, so I'll go ahead and send the email.
The fic I'm sporking (very, very slowly) has an original song in it—by which I mean poem because there's no actual music—and I'd love to see what someone more educated than me about these things has to say about it. One of my agents was trained as a Harper, so I'd like him to sound like he knows what he's talking about when it comes to commenting on it. {= )

I do a thing called FAWM every year and people seem to like it, so lyrics are something about which I know a tad. My styles are pretty wide-ranging, from folk songs about life in a decaying seaside town to crustpunk growlery about 17th-century Pashtun warrior-poets. I'll send you something from my main email account forthwith, but if it's playing up, send whatever you've got to harry heath 99 at that email service where the mail is hot. =]
I don't know if I would consider myself an expert, but I do have a decent familiarity with poetry, I would be happy to take a look at it
