The "legolas by laura" of Minecraft fanfiction.
Since I am now on here I do not want what I think is just a dreadful story to pop up. I wrote it quite a long time ago, and I feel like it is probably either very poor mediocre fanfiction or badfic. I would like to know if you think it is bad or I am being overly critical of my own previous work.
In all its unadulterated glory
Desdendelle's right. Nobody intentionally writes something that eye-searingly bad. (Also, it's not the "legolas by laura" of Minecraft fanfiction, it's the "Half Life Full Life Consequences" of Minecraft fanfiction. says the fortunate soul who's read neither)
Anybody here a Teen Titans expert? Still on Kindle, still can't link, but it's another bleeding crossover with Monster Musume. It's called Daily Life of Beast Boy and the Monster Girls, and it's on FFNet.
What I find to be the case with most MonMusu crossovers is that they pretty much just replace Kimihito with whoever they decide to pair with the harem (I've seen Beast Boy, Naruto and Harry Potter thus far). Other than using the new guy's personality, they almost exactly follow the plot of the manga. Usually, this means the MonMusu canons are all in-character, since they don't really do anything different.
There are exceptions (the fic I killed, for instance), but that's the general formula.
...are wildly OOC, so going to say badfic. It's too soon to say how much OOC Beast Boy and Starfire are, but I could bet that's going to get worst.
Recommended course of action: Wait and see, the fic very short yet.
I missed that in my very quick scanthrough. The fic seems to be going to the 'random = funny' end of things.
The MonMusu canons, such as they are, both seem pretty in-character. Miia and Smith basically reprise their roles from the manga's first two chapters.
Oh yeah, I found a rather persistent mini-Suu. Anyone want to adopt Mia?
I've seen pretty much all the animated series and rewatch from time to time, and I've written a mission in Teen Titans.
Also, I believe this is the link you're referring to?

It's... rather generically bad on the Teen Titans fic, from my quick scanning of it.
While it has been a while since I watched the animated series, I think that is the feel the writer is going for. Assuming this is the Animated Universe, I agree with you. The characterizations are off, if not outright wrong. Particularly glaring for me was Raven. Even in that small paragraph her characterization is just wrong. To ensure I covered my bases, I performed a quick search through the DC Wiki. This characterization does not seem to meet either Earth Prime Raven or New Earth Raven. In other words, even at this early stage, Raven in this story does not fit Animated Raven, nor does she fit with either of DC's two main universes either. She is, at least to me, fairly far out of character. That being said, it is still early, but it seems fairly clear where it is going.
I will also say that some of the typographical errors were particularly jarring. As for the crossover I know nothing about the other series to make a determination one way or the other.
That's the official title this side of the pond.
It comes highly recommended. By me. Let me put it this way: the only works of fiction I love more than MonMusu are Pokémon and A Song of Ice and Fire.
It's a fantastic manga, and for reasons that actually aren't fanservice-related. It actually goes into the monster girls' cultures, biology, and the kind of welcome they receive among humans. It also happens to be the only thing I can stand that's almost exclusively romance.
I might do that, though I tend to be cautious about what Anime/Manga I look into. Partly because I have seen what can come along with it. Rules 34, 35, and 36 seem to be easier to find without looking for them when it comes to Anime/Manga. Also I do not have a clearly defined enough genre of what I like, I just know what I don't like when I see it.
Is there anything you might be able to compare it with?
The badness comes so thick I can't think it's anything but trollfic.
Between the name and other stories, I am inclined to believe it is a trollfic. It seems intentional to me.
