Calling some agents! by

I am working on a project that, for purposes of not spoiling the surprise, I am keeping vague at this time. However, I need some help. I need characters, for cameo level to minor roles, that would conceivably be around in the era of Ten Years Hence. Mind you, this will not be a TYH story, but an alternate timeline. As such, it will not affect your characters' stories.
So, if you have anyone who you would like to volunteer, let me know.

You should update your characters' wiki pages. I've done a lot in the course of my ongoing project, expanding some stubs and providing links to prove they actually exist and stuff, but it could be useful to know details like who's still around and who's available to be borrowed or even free to use (for which we have a category) if such is the case. Especially infrastructure staff, whom I haven't gotten around to yet; I'm only just wrapping up with the action departments.

Caleb and Jack will definitely still be here. There won't be much change, either, considering that one's a vampire and the other's a zombie.
The two of them will be around forever. They are eternal. -

It sounds fun, but I don't have permission...
I do have a couple of agents created mentally, and I bet if they did exist in the PPC they probably still be there ten years later.
If only I had permission...
Oh well. -

I'm not sure you really need permission for this. I don't have permission yet either, but I asked and was told that I could just give a short description of the agents.
So, if you can do that, then it's probably fine :)
(Although, it's probably a good idea to check, just in case).
~DF
(Random thought: does it look like I've been signing my name as the Department of Floaters? O.o ... I'm not even in the DF...and neither are any of the agents I'm in the process of creating...weird.)
(I think I'll keep using it, though. It's too useful and familiar a short form to give up.)
(I mean, unless someone's bothered by it, I guess.) -
Y'all should really read the Permission article. by

In this case, specifically the section entitled "Do I need permission to role-play/MST/co-write/have a cameo with my agent?"
The whole thing is pretty informative, though, if I do say so myself. And if it isn't informative enough, let me know!

Oh, right, cameos are part of that! *facepalm* You'd think I hadn't read that about ten times or so. I remembered the role-play and co-writing bits, and promptly forgot that MSTing and cameos were included. Silly me.
It is a good article :) Very useful and informative. :) My memory just doesn't seem to be working properly.
(Actually, the details probably just got buried under all the other PPC stuff I've been reading. I keep getting lost in the wiki and resurfacing an hour or so later. There's so much on it!)

Wonderful! I thought you might've left the PPC, but... well, I'm glad you're still here!
Anyway, with that out of the way... *clears throat*
DIC agent Eusabius and DoSAT Technician Zerenze should be available, IIRC. I think Anneli will also be available, and by that time Saim, Sorsha, and Malran should be old enough to understand stuff by then.

Brenda Loringham, DMS (Freelance)
Brenda is generally good-natured and easy-going, with a tendency to bounciness, except when faced with such things as crimes against canon. She detests Sues and Suethors with a passion, and has trouble understanding why anyone would *want* to warp canon in the first place. She originates in World One, and claims never to have written a Sue (it's unclear whether this is true, or if she has simply suppressed the memory). She often works in the LotR division, although she has a soft spot for James Bond and will take missions in almost any canon that she knows. Her preferred weapon is a longbow. She is somewhere in her 20s, and of average height with light brown hair and brown eyes to match. She is also farsighted, and often has trouble reading displays, but refuses to admit that she needs glasses. She was dismayed and disgusted to be partnered with a former Suethor, but does her best to get past that. (She is, unfortunately, not always successful).
Charlie Shoe, DMS (Freelance)
Charlotte Shoe (generally known as Charlie) is much newer to the PPC than Brenda and is still having trouble adjusting. She is often nervous, but tends to get upset at such unlikely things as anime-style Muggle clothing at Hogwarts and Tolkien's Elves talking and behaving like human teenagers. She is a former Suethor from World One, and wrote numerous crossover Suefics, but has since attended OFUM (as most of her stories involved extraneous characters coming to Middle-earth) and reformed. She has a special fondness for Tolkien's poetry, and can recite most of it on demand. She is frequently unnerved by Brenda, generally when the latter remembers Charlie's history, but works well enough with her in the field. She prefers missions in the LotR or HP continua, but knows many others and is willing to take missions in them without much complaint. She is shorter than Brenda and in the latter half of her teens, with wavy blonde hair that turns white-blonde when given enough sun, and light blue eyes. She has yet to develop a weapons preference, and usually just uses whatever works best with her current disguise.
Note: Charlie was sent into one of the worst of her Crossover Suefics for her first mission, along with a male DIC agent. Brenda was sent in to find them after they lost contact with HQ mid-call. The mission went rather disastrously (although it became hilarious in hindsight) for the most part, but in the end was sorted out by the three agents. It was on this mission that Brenda learned that her shiny new (sane!) partner was a former Suethor, and became upset enough to start vowing vengeance on the SO. (Nothing came of her threats, possibly due to the fact that by the time she and Charlie had finished with all the missions that were dumped on them immediately afterwards she was too exhausted to do anything more than collapse and threaten to portal into the Avengers 'verse and borrow the Hulk to smash the console if it dared to BEEP! again any time soon.)
They share RC #29 (unless that gets taken before I get permission), and will probably pick up various minis and pets throughout their PPC career.

Hopefully that's short enough. If I left out something important that you need to know, just ask.
