So today (or possibly tomorrow, I'm a little hazy on the exact date) marks five years with the PPC. Seriously, how in the world did you lot put up with me for five years?
To be fair I've had periods of inactivity so I dunno if you can actually count this as a proper five years with the PPC, be it's definitely been five years since I've joined. Which is still weird to me. Seems like just a few months ago that I got Permission. Heck, it seems like just a few months since I started hanging around the IRC, back when it was actually active and full of people talking all day every day. In the five years since I've joined, I've made several friends, and lost a few. I've been introduced to new fandoms and communities thanks to you guys, and had some of the most fun playing games and reading bad fanfic. I dunno that I'll still be here in another five years, but here's to however much longer I do end up spending.
I think it's getting to around 5 years myself. In October or something, maybe. Hard to imagine it, eh? here to you being around for longer yet, man. Cheers!
And congratulations on the anniversary! Time well spent, indeed.
