Have a snowglobe with a replica of your favorite fictional locale inside!
Uh, hello PPCers. I'm AsbesToast, and I'm new.
I've read the Constitution and most (if not all,) of the FAQs on the wiki, and as of right now I'm a decent way through the Original Series.
I'm a part of the Redwall fandom, the El Goonish Shive fandom, the Elder Scrolls fandom, the Breaking Bad fandom, the Scrubs fandom, the Dexter fandom, and a whole mess of other fandoms to varying degrees.
I found the PPC through my brother, Angry Harmonica. Harmonica was reading around on the wiki, and he found a description of the PPC that described the group as writers who "enjoy utilizing their talents for snark, sarcasm, and humor in their writing," which he felt describes me pretty well, too.
I think my favorite spin-off agent is Bryndan Kern, especially partnered with Logan.
For fun, I usually just waste time on the internet or play through the mountain of video games I've accumulated on Steam over the years.

A perfect little replica of the Ballad of Fallen Angels church from Cowboy Bebop? How cool! Thank you!
Have a bottomless bag for storing whatever other gifts you may get--don't worry, it has pockets so you don't lose anything. I'm a Redwall fan (though not as much of one as I used to be); do you have a favorite book in the series?
Without a doubt, my favorite Redwall book would have to be Lord Brocktree. It was one of the first books I ever read, and I keep on re-reading it to this day. I guess it's like your first Ghibli film; the first time you experience the magic is almost always your favorite.
I think newbie glomping is a thing. Is it still a thing when another newbie is doing it? I'm going to do it anyways. Just to be safe, you understand.
*glomps*
Now that that's over with, have a transparent kitten! Not to be confused with the invisible and nonexistent kittens.
Thanks for the really warm welcome, everyone! As you can see, I survived the tea leaves, and the tea itself was delicious. I had a cup of that along with the popcorn. As far as the urple wristwatch... I can't even really perceive it yet, but thank you! I'm sure the honking messenger pigeon will come in handy, and the protective eye-wear already helped me overcome the tea leaves. Thanks again, everyone!
Interesting choice of a favorite agent: a quick search on the Wiki shows that Bryndan has only done two missions and an MST. Anyway, it's lovely to meet you. Have a pair of safety goggles and some popcorn!
Hi, hello, greetings, &c. Since you've done most of the regular stuff by yourself already, let me just give you this cup of tea - don't let the leaves eat you, willya now?
*taps chin before holding out a digital urple wrist-watch* You should know exactly what this does, what it is for, and how to use it. I don't know quite what it actually does though beyond what it does.
Oh, and of course, it can tell time... if you can actually look at the display.
Welcome aboard, fellow Newbie.
Have a honking messenger pidgeon with an urple now around its neck! Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we have any overlapping fandoms, but no matter. Welcome, and I hope you like it here!
First poke! ^_^
Anyway, hi! Hope you enjoy your stay. Don't forget to leave your sanity at the door - it'll just get broken if you bring it in here.

It seems like you always beat me to saying it. *pouts*
... you must have gone back in time and secretly implanted it in my mind. I've been doing it for years.
But, for a huge chunk in the middle there, I gave up on saying anything to newbies. So it's entirely possible you came up with it independently. Which of course means we must now fight to the death to determine who has the right to say it. Choose your weapons!
... wait, no, that's something else. ^_^

Okay, I'm fairly sure I came up with it on my own, but if you've been saying it for a while now... *sheepish grin*
I think you will find that many have made use of the pun for many years now, but that one literary doctor in particular was especially prolific in its use back when he bothered to greet every newbie.
