  1. Some of the older spin-offs had a greater amount of interaction with canon characters than we typically do today. Eponine's presence in HQ is one of the factors that got criticized heavily in Chliever's spin-off, and contributed to his eventual abandonment of it. (Personally, I wish we had given him a chance to resolve that storyline, but let's not get into it here.) On the other hand, there's the situation with Xanthus Garkaran and his friend who still lives in the Mass Effect continuum. She isn't an actual canon from the game, but she is treated a realistic background character for the setting. I'm not totally sure what situation you had in mind; is this answer helpful?

    2. Some agents do wear "regular" clothes in lieu of the PPC black. (Although in my mind, the PPC uniform is regular clothes that happen to be black.) And that sort of clothing has often been worn into Earthish continua where they wouldn't attract attention, rather than bothering with a disguise. A supersuit wouldn't work out so well there, though, unless Sarah was going into a world with superheroes who wear costumes. Even then, it's a tricky question; she could probably blend in that way in Marvel or DC, but maybe not in Watchmen, where there are a finite and well-known number of heroes. (Or maybe I'm over-thinking that part a bit.)
