At one point I was looking up Homestuck badfics in an effort to find out which ones were the worst and most prevalent. So I find this fic on AO3 that's got all the weirdest tags; mpreg, eggpreg, egg laying, etcetera, etcetera, and so forth. So, in a fit of absolute brilliance, I decided I was going to read it.

Yeah, no.

I've never wished so hard that bleeprin was real, and about two thirds of the way through I had to take a break to go get some vinegar because my stomach was revolting so hard. But I read it all the way to the end, and I know that I will never ever forget that Homestuck is a thing, if only because of that fic, because it was seared into my memory with a branding iron fresh from a fire the temperature of a dying sun. Eerghu.

And then there's Thirty Hs, but I'm not sure anyone even needs to mention that one. I made my friend almost cry just by summarizing the first three chapters to him. (I was trying to prove that badfic really is "that bad." Did I hit him too hard?) I really did cry when I got to chapter eight.

Mostly involving that nasty corner where sex and violence intersect, and not in the way most people would consider to be kinky.
And then there's that other corner, dealing with different bodily functions.

I've grown used to a lot, though, and learned to frown, close the tab, delete my history and move on.
