Have one of my own shed feathers and a complimentary kit of Spikes!
I've been a longtime lurker here, and have decided to introduce myself to the board. I'm a voracious reader of ppc missions, and love the way you people write. Hello! :)
Welcome to the PPC!
Have 2 bottles of bleeprin and a club to keep Drake away.
So you'll always look cool without trying!
This shovel digs up—
*is blasted into the air*
*lands in a heap*
...ow... geysers, apparently...
And hey, a fellow Abhorsen fan! By the way, what agent teams do you follow?
Well, I suppose I'm not much of a lurker anymore, but the point stands.
For your newbie gift, take this Replica Holocron, as well as a hobbit baked pie as an apology for my lateness.
Thanks! The pie was wonderful.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a pie out of Hobbiton without the hobbits noticing?
As your newbie gift, have this replica of the One Ring, that turns you into a kobold while you use it!
look what we have here, boys. A newbie.
I'll just get my lead pipe and...
Hey! Hi! Hello!
Welcome!
Here, have this lead pipe, my friend. It's vintage and all polished. Never been used, you know. Diplomacy is the greatest weapon, the way I see it.
Fond of succession games, eh?
I've only really read Boatmurdered, which is bloody Shakespearean. Got any recommendations?
Welcome!
Thanks! I've been reading gemclod, and it's quite nice. The hall of legends on the bay12 forums lists the awesome vintage ones, I've linked it: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=89305.0
That's a kick to the memory.
Hell, I've read some of this!
FailCannon was amazing, and I'm pretty certain I finished all of Drunk Fortress.
Suppose I could just read it all again, if I can't remember most of it, eh?
I haven't read failcannon yet, the forum thread format's a bit offputting.
Seemed to work for me.
You play Dwarf Fortress itself?
I've tried getting into it, and still want to, but I can't really be bothered right now. Could never figure that military and hospital nonsense.
Download the Lazy Newb Pack, or at the very least dwarf therapist and a good texture pack. Reddit's r/dwarffortress is also pretty good.
Have one of my own shed feathers and a complimentary kit of Spikes!
I'm not sure what Spikes are, but they'll make awesome weapons. :)
Since I was beaten to asking the ever-important questions, I'll just hand you this Royal Ice Cream Container. It's basically Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, except you choose the flavor. Close the lid, say any flavor, open lid, consume miraculously appearing ice cream.
This is truly a wonder. I didn't even know that lychee-and-nuttela flavored ice cream existed.
Your fault Ix, you forgot the first part. ;)
Anyways, take this pot of black-hole coffee. Hope you'll enjoy the madhouse for a long time.
I'm a fairly big coffe drinker, and your gift was really appreciated.
:P
Hello, and welcome aBoard! For your newbie gift, take this plate of freshly-made SPaGhetti!
Since I'm assuming you've already read the Original Series and the Constitution, mind if I ask what your fandoms are and which agents you've read?
Hope you like it here!
I'm at the moment interested in the abhorsen-verse, and am halfway through the Septimus Heap books. I love the Secrets of the immortal Nicholas Flamel series, and have been meaning to read up on Spooks Apprentice. I don't know if this counts, but I like Dwarf Fortress succesion games. I really can't list the agents I've read in entirety, but I've read most if the new stuff.
FINALLY, somebody else who has read Septimus Heap! And when you say Spook's Apprentice, do you mean The Last Apprentice? :D The only other person I know who's read those series is my brother.
The Last Apprentice is the american version. The british editions are The spook's apprentice. It's like how the first harry potter book is sorceror's stone in america and philosopher's stone in england.
Yay, that's now two relatively obscure fandoms we can geek out over!
Flergle, I think this must be heaven. ... Funny, I always thought there would be a lot more trading card games in heaven.
I'm waiting for cat heaven. This is the budget version. :)
It's a bit confusing, but not bad. :)
Sorry, forgot to enter my name.
I know I've got the Flamel books somewhere in Carmela's closet, and I've got the Heap books on my IPod. Color me surprised. And yeah, game fandoms count. Pokémon, Fire Emblem, anything.
Hello, hello! Before Iximaz sees what I've done, here's some Everlasting Hiccup Tablets. Now, I need to run, tally-ho!
P.S. Please don't hurt me.
Thanks! I certainly have not put these in the handbaked apple pie I sent you. *Grins evilly.*
Sounds very nice. Is it spicy?
Have a purple glitter pen. Your agents cannot use it to write mission reports.
That's awesome. They're probably better things to use the ink for than mission reports.
What do you plan to use the ink for? Detail your plan, and I will send along a gift consisting of the supplies I believe you will need to execute it.

Glad to hear you're a voracious reader. Which agents are your favorites so far? Mine are the Aviator (including her past life) and Zeb.
Have some erasable colored pencils! :)
Thanks! I love to draw.
